Being a grown-up is very challenging. Because there are such an unbelievable number of things that we have to handle these days. We are expected to earn good money, be a perfect family man/ woman, look fit and good, pay all the bills and taxes and, above all, remember so many passwords and pins. Most of us never manage to get everything under control. Just when we think that all is well and life is beautiful, there comes up an emergency to deal with. And so, we feel that our lives are just going on while the world is spinning in space at 2 million miles an hour. Sometimes, we think that we are just surviving, while people around us are moving forward 10 times faster than us.

While our heart keeps on getting broken by people around us, by the government and sometimes also by the Almighty, just how can we remain normal, non-idiots? Most of us do not even have the option to become idiots. So, we gather all the courage and pretend to be normal, mature people. We keep on doing our best to get through the day because there’s another day to deal with tomorrow. We keep on moving through our days, desperately hoping that some miracle will happen to us. It’s indeed very challenging to be a grown-up in today’s times. It needs the courage to be a non-idiot and behave maturely all the time.
