We would always like to get true feedback about our school. Being busy performing our responsibilities inside the school, we rarely get to know what is our school’s and our own image outside.
We are always interested in knowing 1) What our student’s parents think about education quality and 2) What is the general perception of our school in society. The factual answers to these questions can help us in improving our services (education) and taking our school to next level. We can create win-win situations for all students, their parents, teachers, and the management.
However, just asking parents for their feedback on the day of the result is not the best way to get true feedback. Neither is asking them ourselves (as school management) for feedback going to make them share their true experience. On our face, especially parents connected to us will always tell us good things about ourselves. Good people usually keep things pleasant and don’t wish to disappoint anyone. Even while giving written feedback, we don’t prefer ticking on the last ‘not satisfied’ column even when we are actually not satisfied. We just decide not to go there again.
How can we get to know what is the majority of the general public (connected and also not connected to us) thinking about us and use this knowledge to improve our services and prosper our school?
